Practical Retrofit Coordination & TrustMark Lodgement training.
The Practical Retrofit Coordination & Lodgement course is designed to help learners understand how retrofit projects are coordinated, documented, and lodged in accordance with PAS 2035. It focuses on the hands-on processes involved in managing projects, completing documentation, and using systems such as TrustMark's Data Warehouse to ensure full compliance and quality assurance.
Course overview.
The Level 3 Award in Practical Retrofit Coordination and Lodgement (GQA) is a unique, practice-based qualification developed jointly by Synergy Training Centre and Trade Engine. It bridges the gap between theoretical Retrofit Coordinator training and real-world delivery, providing hands-on understanding of evidence management, TrustMark lodgement, and the day-to-day coordination of PAS 2035-compliant projects.
While many Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator qualifications focus heavily on policy and theory, this Level 3 practical award focuses on doing. It instructs learners how to compile, check, and lodge a complete evidence pack that meets TrustMark and audit standards. The course walks through each stage of the coordination process using authentic case files, best practice templates, and live demonstrations of the TrustMark Data Warehouse.
The qualification is approved and regulated by GQA Qualifications and designed with direct input from industry practitioners. It is already recognised by leading coordination practices as the missing link between knowledge and capability.
Who this course is for.
This qualification is designed for professionals involved in managing or supporting domestic retrofit projects under PAS 2035. It is particularly relevant to:

Assessment & certification.
The qualification is assessed through a practical workbook and supporting evidence portfolio. Learners must demonstrate the ability to coordinate and document a PAS 2035 project through to successful TrustMark lodgement, using real or simulated case studies.
Assessment is verified internally and externally by GQA Qualifications and must be conducted by assessors with current, verifiable industry experience. Successful completion leads to the Level 3 Award in Practical Retrofit Coordination and Lodgement.
